Painting a Landscape from Memory

I saw this scene during a walk and I left my phone at home. So I observed for a while, then rushed home to paint it. Total elapsed time painting: 33 minutes. I treated it like a little relaxation exercise while challenging myself with the brush and time restrictions. It forced me to optimize the process a bit more by focusing on the bigger picture to avoid getting caught in insignificant detail...

Keeping track of these steps makes for a nice reminder in the future when we will have time to look back and reflect on these adventures.

    Thats the amazing thing, the game is designed in a way to make you feel like you accomlish something. Whatever you do, you seem to have a winning experience. Currently i feel like life in the society I live in, is designed the opposite way. I just keep taking L's and feeling absolutely powerless to change anything. Worked for 10 years now as a mechanic and the only thing I really farmed there is back injuries which have gotten so bad that i cannot do this job in the future probably. Now I will get dropped like a broken tool that has outlived its usefullness. The only thing that really can save you and help is yourself, your own strength and willpower to continue. Unfortunatly I am lacking both at the time. The only wish I have is getting cancer or killed. I dont want to be part anymore of this misery machine.

    • @Light-Share
      @Light-Share 3 месяца назад

      Maybe those L's are trying to tell you something. Maybe there's a different approach or strategy you must take. If something's not working, then you keep going and going until you find what works and clicks. Nothing comes easy the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time. It may take months, it may take years. Anyone who's tried to gain success has gone through this. Through trial and error you learn many things about yourself and your process. If life was too easy, it would be boring to continue because you've already won. Cheat codes make a game boring after awhile. There's nothing else to do because you already have everything. Challenges are what make life worth living for. Keeping optimistic will help greatly. Hope you find your way in life

    Im glad you brought up 8:50 bro. Its something both you and I will have to deal with. The deep meaning we both talk about that nobody understands or sees but we both see. We gotta keep going and finding our tribe. Stay strong brother. This storm will pass, always here for you 💪🏼⚔️

      I really appreciate it brother. We'll keep sending the message into the universe. At some point, it will land, it's gotta get somewhere. I find that a very beautiful and noble way to navigate life, by speaking your truth and calling for like minded people. Let's keep going.

    I just heard your motivation talking through your latest evenant course: Visual Storytelling I know you're improving at expressing your thoughts by describing your philosophy and your questioning for life. I'm here to hear you like a bee in a garden to select the goodies. all I can say is that life is small and we don't have to overthink it too much cause we lose time when we feel exhausted it's ok to take the process of improving a little bit slower cause after all life is all about the experience. if you don't have fun through the experience then you have two options to back off or to embrace the pain if your heart tells you your limited belief system is on your way. Sometimes we all need to balance ourselves when we are hitting full speed. otherwise, we will end up losing our functionality for us first and then for the others. I wish you do what is right in your written heart desire, to find the right people to help you with your dream to achieve it and make your life easier.

      No doubt the universe works in cycles. They range from the smallest to the biggest scale. Some stages will feel more intense, others more boring, simple, slow, etc. I am grateful regardless. And I'm very thankful to read comments like yours. There is always room for balance, that's what nature is after all. It's always an experiment to find out the perfect equilibrium in this dance between work and rest, growth and decay, suffering and joyful chapters. It's all part of it. Can't have one without the other. They give meaning to each other. George, you're great. Thanks a lot for your insightful comment once again.

    I think they fixed the issue that messes with the experience of using the pen pressure. Because I recently started to use a drawing tablet and I don't use Windows Ink and I can use the pen pressure.

      @pry4112 That's really strange... I'm using XP Pen too, model Deco 01 v2, and using Windows 11 latest version. Is your Windows, Driver/Pentablet software updated?
